Degrees of Truth is an Italian female-fronted progressive symphonic metal band.
The band released
their first album ‘The Reins Of Life’ in 2016 for the Italian label Underground Symphony, followed by the EP ‘Lifeless, Faultless’ in 2017 and by second full-length "Time Travel Artifact" in 2019.
New full-length ALCHEMISTS out June 2023 for Scarlet Records.

It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands
